Haji Ali Mosque and Daragh sits on a causeway off Worli in the southern part of Mumbai, a striking monument of white juxtaposed against the blue of the Arabian sea. Built in 1431 the Dargah is a tomb named after Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, one of the greatest Muslim saint of his time.
A pilgrimage site for Muslims, the intricately carved white structure a showcase of Islamic architecture attracts thousands of visitors daily who offer their prayers and ask for wishes to be fulfilled by the revered Saint.
