Gower Photography Workshops
“Gower is a very beautiful peninsula, some miles from this blowsy town…
as a matter of fact it is one of the loveliest sea-coast stretches in the whole of Britain.”
Dylan Thomas
Gower is a photographers dream location, unspoiled natural coastline of sandy beaches and windswept cliffs, washed by crashing Atlantic surf in the depths of winter, then swept by deep blue waves reflecting summer skies.
Each season has its own mood and beauty transformed by dramatic light, colourful flora, fauna bird and wildlife.
The Gower Peninsula was the first place in Britain to be designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956.

Photography workshops
Photography workshops that cater for all skill levels, from complete beginners, keen enthusiasts, aspiring professionals or seasoned photographers.
Full day or half day workshops tailored to individuals and small groups of all abilities. Allowing for a high level of personal attention so I can work with you to achieve your goals, through hands on guidance.
As a tutor for well over a decade and a photographer for even longer I will share my knowledge and experience so you will learn or improve on existing skills and techniques.
I was born in Swansea therefore Gower is an area I am very familiar with. Historic castles, rolling downs, rocks pools and golden sandy beaches have been my playground from a young age. I love nothing better than to be in the outdoors, meet new people and share my passion for photography with others. And what better way of combining all three than to teach photography workshops on the Gower Peninsula.

Scenery which inspires most everyone to pick up a camera so come along to a workshop and spend time with other individuals that share the same interest. Capture memorable images of this breath taking landscape for yourself in a relaxed and enjoyable manner.
Interest and enthusiasm are more important than having the latest state-of-the-art camera equipment.

Testimonials
“I started photography classes with Liz as a complete novice. Thanks to her, my photography skills have developed and improved over the years. Liz is an excellent teacher with an extensive knowledge of the subject.” Keith
“Liz has taught me that a camera is not just for holidays! You can leave it on automatic but she will take you through the other settings resulting in better photographs. She will teach you all about picture composition and situations to avoid. With beautiful Gower scenery on our doorstop, what are you waiting for !.” Julie
“I have been a student of Liz for about 6-7 years, I have been on many out door photo sessions, and have found Liz to be an exceptional teacher, with a great eye for detail, and very good at spotting a photo opportunity when most of the class are unable to recognise the shot. Liz is an excellent teacher, and a quite remarkable photographer. She has helped me improve my photo skills, also myself and I thank her for her knowledge and professional skills.” Neil
